Riley Killian

Riley joined the Affiance Financial team as a Financial Paraplanner in August, 2026. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. Prior to joining Affiance, Riley gained experience in accounting, tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation through an accounting internship at The Miller Group, gaining valuable hands-on experience in client service and financial operations. As part of the Affiance team, he assists advisors with meeting preparation and client follow-up. He also assists with various client service requests and maintaining the firm's databases.

• Riley grew up playing baseball, basketball, and football, and he still competes in local baseball and basketball leagues. 
• Before beginning his finance career, he worked as a Substitute Special Education Paraprofessional for the Carver County School District. 
• His favorite music genres are yacht rock and classic country.
